This listing is for a half piece which will still last for ages!
Pickleball paddle rubber by Obelisk, designed to remove plastic ball fibres and grit from raw-carbon paddle surfaces, ie. matte black surfaces.
Do not use on aramid/Kevlar paddles - typically red or dark blue.
How often should I clean my paddle?
Plastic fibres from pickleballs mix with court dust and form a micro-abrasive film on your paddle face. This build-up can reduce spin and slowly wear the textured surface — so regular light cleaning is better than letting grime accumulate.
During play, a quick wipe with a damp cloth helps.
After your session, use the cleaning rubber for a deeper clean.
How to use:
Use light, sweeping strokes. Use the long corner edge which makes better surface contact. The rubber is softer than the paddle surface and safe for the peel-ply carbon texture. No heavy pressure needed — let the rubber lift the residue. Excessive scrubbing is unnecessary, but gentle routine cleaning keeps your paddle performing at its best.
